About Rhins Active
Rhins Active is a community cycle project which aims to help people cycle and travel sustainably, benefiting health and wellbeing by promoting active travel to school children, their families and the wider community.
We offer cycle rides with trained leaders specifically for different groups like beginners, women only and seniors, allowing them to develop and improve their cycling skills in an inclusive environment.
We recycle bicycles that would normally go to landfill and sell, or gift them, once refurbished. We have put over 200 bikes back into service saving approximately 2.5 tonnes of materials from going to landfill.
Our team of bike mechanics also offer a range of repairs and advice to keep you on the road.
